This policy explains what information SHUN collects and how it's used.

1. Age Eligibility

SHUN is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

2. Information We Collect

• Account details: name, email, date of birth, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
• Profile information: bio, interests, experience, and social links you choose to add.
• Content you create: Space posts, comments, messages, and job listings/applications. (The Library's resources are curated and published by SHUN admins only.)
• Usage information: basic activity such as sign-ins and the features you use.
• Location: your country, used to show relevant Jobs and Events. You can override the detected location at any time.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide core features: Spaces, mentorship matching, jobs, events, and messaging.
• To send you push notifications about activity relevant to you (you can turn these off in Notification Settings).
• To review submissions (Spaces, job listings, mentor applications) before they're made visible to others.

4. Who Can See Your Information

• Your profile is visible to other members as you configure it.
• Resumes and cover letters submitted to a job are visible to SHUN admins reviewing applications.
• Space posts and comments are visible to other members of that Space according to its privacy setting.
• Job listings show who posted them (your name, or "SHUN" for admin-posted listings).

5. Data Storage

Files (resumes, images, attachments) are stored securely in cloud storage. Access links are time-limited and regenerated on each request.

6. Your Choices

• You can deactivate your account at any time (reversible) or permanently delete it (irreversible) from Profile settings.
• You can update or remove profile information at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

SHUN is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
